‘’Please let us start by saying that this an absolutely fantastic property in a great location. The lodge boasts 5 spacious bedrooms along with ample family rooms, perfect for our group of nine.
The property is well taken care of and was clean throughout. There is a very quaint and rustic feel to the lodge which really enhanced the experience for us and made it feel like our ‘home away from home’ and yet as you go through the property it becomes ultra modern in the Tower.
The gardens are spacious and well-kept which allows for a picturesque view out of any of the north facing rooms. Some of the rooms, including the main family room, are slightly elevated which also provides a beautiful view directly overlooking Ullswater river and lake.
The property has free wifi along with easy to use TVs in the family rooms. There is a pool table and a film room in the main tower of the Lodge which are both great for family entertainment.
The nearby area is loaded with a number of very charming walks that are suitable for people of all ages whilst the village itself has sufficient amenities to ensure a comfortable and easy stay.
It is clear that the owners have invested a lot of time and effort into the property and their goal is to make sure that you have a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

“Wow, this property is simply Unique. Our party of 8 adults and 4 children found the lodge to be more than spacious with things to keep us all amused during the two rainy days we had. The gardens and river are a joy although my husband never caught any fish… Fantastic gem of a property we will be back.”
